Kenwood 3-in-1 Sandwich Toaster, Waffle Maker & Grill, Model SMM02.000SI

Our review

This Kenwood is a three-in-one countertop cooker: swap in one set of plates for toasted sandwiches, another for waffles, and a third for grilling or griddle cooking. The plates are nonstick coated, which keeps food from sticking and makes cleanup quicker, and they detach so you can wash them separately from the body. The cool-touch handle and light indicator are the small conveniences that matter day to day. It suits someone with limited counter space who wants sandwiches and waffles from one appliance rather than two. Before buying, think about how often you genuinely make waffles, since a dedicated sandwich maker costs less if you never will. Compare plate quality and how securely they clip in, plus whether the wattage and plate size match how much you cook at once. If you already own a grill press, the overlap may not be worth it.
