Our review
The JBL Flip 6 is a portable waterproof speaker built around a two-way system: a racetrack-shaped woofer handles low frequencies and midrange, while a dedicated tweeter takes care of high frequencies. That separation is the main reason it can play loud without vocals turning muddy, which matters if you listen to music with busy mixes rather than just podcasts. It suits people who want a grab-and-go speaker for outdoor use, since the waterproof build points to poolside, beach or kitchen duty. Before buying, think about how you will carry it and whether you need a speaker that can fill a room or just a small gathering, because a two-way design this size favours clarity over room-shaking bass. Compare it with other portable speakers in the same class by checking driver layout, whether the tweeter is separate, and how the waterproofing is rated. If you mainly want background sound at low volume, a simpler single-driver speaker may be enough. If you want vocals and instruments to stay distinct when turned up, the two-way setup here is the feature worth paying attention to. Available on Sokonia.
