JBL PartyLight Beam Bluetooth Projection Party Light with RGB Effects

Our review

The JBL PartyLight Beam is a projection light that throws RGB effects onto walls and ceilings, turning a room into a party zone. It is aimed at people who already own a JBL PartyBox speaker or anyone who wants music-reactive lighting without running cables across the room, since it syncs wirelessly with PartyBox speakers or any music source. Before buying, think about the size and shape of your space: JBL rates coverage at up to 400 square feet, so a small bedroom and a large open lounge will get very different results. Also check where you can mount or place it, because projection lights work best when aimed at a clear, light-coloured surface. Compared with fixed colour-changing bulbs or LED strips, this kind of projector gives broader, more dramatic coverage but depends on the music source for its sync effect. If you want a simple ambient lamp rather than a show, a basic smart bulb may be enough. If you want the room itself to feel like part of the sound system, this is the category to look at. It is available on Sokonia.
