Our review
The Ingco GE8002 is a small petrol generator built around a 63ml two-stroke engine that runs at 3000rpm and puts out 0.65kW continuously, peaking at 0.8kW. It delivers 220-240V at 50Hz through an aluminium wire alternator, starts with a recoil pull, and carries a 4.0L fuel tank on a 16.5kg air-cooled frame. This suits someone who needs a modest amount of mains-type power for a few lights, a small TV, a phone charger or a short run of a low-draw tool where no grid supply exists. Because it is a two-stroke, it needs pre-mixed fuel rather than straight petrol, and the mix ratio matters for engine life, so confirm that before you commit. Compare it against larger four-stroke units if you plan to run anything with a motor or heating element, since those handle sustained loads better and avoid mixing fuel. Also weigh the 16.5kg dry weight against how far you will carry it, and check the rated 0.65kW figure rather than the peak when matching it to your appliances. It is available on Sokonia.
