Ingco Double Open End Spanner 8x9mm HDSPA08091

Our review

This is a double open end spanner from Ingco, sized 8mm at one end and 9mm at the other, listed under model HDSPA08091. It is made from Cr-V steel with a chrome plated, matt finish, and it comes packed by label. The two-size layout suits anyone working on small fasteners where reaching for a separate 8mm or 9mm wrench would slow things down, such as bicycle and motorcycle maintenance, small engine work, furniture assembly, and light electrical or appliance repairs. Because both ends are open rather than ring, it slides onto nuts and bolts from the side, which helps in tight spots, but it grips fewer flats than a ring end, so avoid leaning hard on a stubborn or partly rounded fastener. Before buying, confirm 8mm and 9mm are genuinely the sizes you need, since a spanner only helps if it fits the nut properly. Compare it with other Cr-V spanners in the same sizes, and check whether a ring or combination version would serve you better for high-torque work. It is available on Sokonia.
