Ingco Combination Spanner 6mm HCSPA061 Chrome Plated Cr-V

Our review

This is a single 6mm combination spanner from Ingco, the kind of small tool that handles both ends of a job: an open jaw for quick turns and a ring end for a firmer grip on a nut or bolt head. The 6mm size puts it in the territory of small fasteners, so it suits bicycle and motorcycle work, appliance repairs, electronics enclosures, and light assembly tasks where larger spanners simply will not fit. It is also a sensible pick if you are building up a set one size at a time rather than buying a full roll. The tool is forged from Cr-V steel and given a chrome plated, matt finish, which is a common combination for spanners in this class. Before buying, check that 6mm is genuinely the size you need, since a spanner that is even slightly too large will round off a soft or tight fastener. Also confirm the drive style you want: a combination spanner like this covers more situations than a single open-ended one, but a dedicated ring spanner or a socket may still be better for very tight or recessed bolts. Compare the finish and material against other spanners in the same size, and consider whether you would rather buy a set covering several sizes. Available on Sokonia.
