Ingco Chain Block 1 Ton HCBK0101, 3m Lift Height
TSh 280,000
Our review
This is a manual chain block from Ingco, rated to lift one tonne through a three-metre lift height. It uses a single load chain, and the hook-to-hook distance is 300 mm when the block is closed up. Pulling the chain to raise a full load takes about 322.5 N of effort, and the unit itself weighs 9.5 kg.
It suits workshop, garage, farm and light construction users who need to lift engines, beams, drums or similar loads where no power hoist is available. The one-tonne rating gives useful headroom for loads well under a tonne, but you should never exceed the rated capacity, and you should check the chain, hooks and brake before each use. Mount it on a beam or frame rated for the load plus the block.
Compare alternatives on lift height, chain falls, hook opening and net weight. A two-chain model lifts with less pull effort but is heavier and slower. Confirm the 3 m lift suits your lifting point before buying. Available on Sokonia.
