Hisense 32-Inch LED HD Non-Smart TV, Model 32A2N

Our review

This Hisense set is a 32-inch LED television with HD resolution and no smart platform, so it does not stream apps on its own. That makes it a sensible pick for a bedroom, kitchen, small sitting room, or a second screen where you mainly watch broadcast channels or plug in a decoder or media player. The built-in sleep timer, program lock, and maximum volume lock are the practical touches worth noting: they help with falling asleep to the TV, keeping children away from certain channels, and capping how loud the set can go. Before buying, think about how you will get your content, since a non-smart TV relies on an external source, and check the physical space and stand or wall position you have in mind. Compared with smart TVs of the same size, this kind of set usually trades apps and voice control for simplicity and fewer menus to navigate, which suits people who want a straightforward remote and less setup. If you need streaming built in, look at smart models instead; if you do not, this covers the basics.
