Decakila 20cm Aluminium Frying Pan KMEP001B with Heat Indicator

Our review

This is a 20cm aluminium frying pan from Decakila, sold under model number KMEP001B and listed as an 8-inch pan. The size puts it in the small-to-medium bracket, which tends to suit one or two people rather than a full family cooking at once. It is a reasonable pick for someone making omelets, pan-frying a single fish fillet or a couple of pieces of meat, or reheating a portion of food without dirtying a larger pan. The heat indicator is the detail worth noting, since it gives a visual cue for when the pan has warmed up, which helps if you are not confident judging temperature by feel. The aluminium body keeps the pan light to lift, and the dishwasher-safe claim matters if you would rather not hand wash it. Before buying, think about what you already cook with. A 20cm pan will not replace a larger skillet for big batches, and if you regularly cook for more than two people you may want to compare it against wider pans in the same range. Also check whether the handle and any coating suit your hob type, since those details are not stated here. If you want a small, easy-to-clean pan for everyday portions, this one is available on Sokonia.
