Decakila Food Steamer 9L 3 Layer 950W KEER011W

Our review

The Decakila Food Steamer KEER011W is a three-tier electric steamer with a 9 litre capacity and a 950W element. Because the layers stack, you can steam different foods in the same session rather than cooking them one after another, which is the main appeal for anyone feeding a household or batch-cooking for the week. It suits people who already steam regularly and want more room, or those moving away from frying and boiling. Before buying, think about your counter and cupboard space, since a three-layer unit takes up more room than a single basket, and check whether the layers nest for storage. Compare it with two-tier steamers if you usually cook for one or two, and with larger capacity models if you regularly cook for a crowd. Also consider how easy each part is to wash, because stacked steamers create more surfaces to clean. The wattage matters for how quickly it heats, so weigh that against your kitchen's power setup.
