Tronic G9 LED Bulb, Daylight 6500K, 3.5W 300 Lumens

Our review

This is a compact G9 capsule bulb from Tronic, rated 3.5W and 300 lumens at a daylight colour temperature of 6500K. It is the sort of bulb you fit where a small, bright point of light matters more than flooding a room: decorative fittings, cabinet interiors, and accent spots. It suits anyone replacing an old halogen G9 capsule, since the low wattage keeps running costs down while still giving a crisp, cool white light. Before buying, check that your fixture takes a G9 base and that the fitting has room for the capsule, and think about whether 300 lumens is enough for the job. If you want a warmer, softer feel, a lower Kelvin bulb of the same type would be the alternative to compare against.
