Hitachi CV-945F 18L Drum Vacuum Cleaner, 2000W, Blower Function

Our review

The Hitachi CV-945F is a drum-type vacuum cleaner built around a 2000W motor and an 18-litre collection capacity. That combination points to longer cleaning sessions between emptying, which suits larger homes, offices, workshops and light commercial spaces more than a small flat. The blower function adds a second job: shifting dust and debris out of corners, vents or equipment where suction alone is awkward, while the washable cloth filter means you rinse and reuse rather than constantly buying replacements.
Before buying, think about how you will actually use it. Drum vacuums tend to be heavier and less nimble than upright or stick models, so if your cleaning is mostly stairs or quick touch-ups, a lighter machine may serve you better. If you are tackling carpets, hard floors, upholstery and hard-to-reach areas in one session, the capacity and suction here make more sense. Check which attachments and hose length come in the box, since those decide how far you can reach, and confirm the filter is genuinely washable in your unit. Compare against other 2000W drum vacuums on capacity, filter type and blower function rather than wattage alone. Available on Sokonia.
