Tronic Gold Twin Switch Socket with USB and Type C

Our review

This Tronic Gold socket combines two switched outlets with USB and Type C charging points in a single wall plate, so a bedside table or desk can power a lamp, a laptop and a phone without a separate adapter crowding the outlet. The smooth edges, shiny surface and neon indicator suit homes and offices where the fitting is visible, and the visible screws make it simpler to open for maintenance later. It best suits anyone replacing an older double socket who wants built-in charging. Before buying, confirm the wall box size and wiring in your room match a twin socket plate, and check whether your devices need fast charging, since no output ratings are listed here. Compare with plain twin sockets plus a separate charger, or with sockets that add extra ports, and weigh how many USB points you actually need. Available on Sokonia.
