Tronic Mechanical Timer Socket, 3200W, 15-Minute Intervals

Our review

This is a plug-in mechanical timer socket from Tronic, rated at 3200W on 220-240V, so it sits between your wall outlet and whatever you want to switch on and off automatically. It suits anyone running heaters, pumps, fans, lights or similar loads on a predictable daily schedule without needing Wi-Fi or an app. Setting it is manual: you push the pins down for the periods you want it on, then rotate the dial to set the time, with a minimum interval of 15 minutes. Before buying, check the wattage of your appliance against the 3200W rating and confirm your supply is 220-240V. Compare it with digital timers if you need to-the-minute accuracy or random modes; mechanical ones like this are simpler and keep working through power cuts. The white PVC body and auto switch are the other details worth noting.
