Tronic Insulated 8 Inch Combination Plier

Our review

This is a combination plier from Tronic with an eight-inch body, built around two working parts: serrated-style gripping jaws and a wire cutter. Because it is insulated, it is aimed at people who may find themselves working near live wires and want a layer of protection between their hand and the conductor. That makes it a reasonable pick for electrical tasks, but also for general bench work where you need to compress, bend, twist or pull out different materials. Before buying, think about the size of your hands and the space you work in, since an eight-inch plier is a middle ground between compact and heavy-duty. Compare it with other insulated pliers on jaw grip, cutter condition and how the insulation is bonded to the handles, because those are the parts that wear first. It is available on Sokonia.
