This is a graduated set of eight aluminium cooking pots, sized 12 through 19, with capacities running from 1.7 litres in the smallest to 6.75 litres in the largest. Because the sizes step up gradually, the set suits a household that cooks at different scales through the week: a small pot for tea or a quick sauce, mid sizes for everyday rice and stews, and the biggest for pilau, ugali or batch cooking when guests arrive. Note that no lids are included, so if you rely on covered cooking, factor in whether your existing lids fit these rims. Aluminium heats quickly and evenly, which is why sufuria of this kind remain common in Tanzanian kitchens, but it is a soft metal, so avoid metal spoons and harsh scouring to keep the surface smooth. Before buying, compare the litre sizes against the pots you already own, check the gauge or thickness if the listing shows it, and weigh the set against buying two or three individual sufuria.
