Ingco Wood Chisel Set, 4 Pieces, 6-25mm, 140mm CRV Blades

Our review

This is a four-piece wood chisel set from Ingco, supplied in the common 6mm, 12mm, 19mm and 25mm widths, with each chisel measuring 140mm in length. The blades are described as CRV, which is a chrome-vanadium steel designation, and the set comes packed on a sliding card rather than in a roll or case. That packaging detail matters if you plan to carry the chisels around, because you will need to sort out your own storage or protection for the edges.
The range of sizes makes it a sensible starting point for general bench work, light joinery, trimming, and cleaning up mortises or hinge recesses. The four widths cover most everyday tasks, from fine paring with the 6mm up to heavier chopping with the 25mm. It suits a hobbyist, a DIY user, or someone putting together a first tool kit who wants a spread of sizes without buying each chisel separately. A tradesperson doing daily heavy work may prefer a set with a recognised steel grade stated more precisely and a proper storage wallet.
Before buying, check the handle type and whether you want struck or non-struck chisels, since the listing does not state this. Also confirm whether you need a mallet-safe design, and whether you already own a sharpening stone, because new chisels of this kind usually benefit from honing before first use. Compare against sets that include a roll, more pieces, or a stated steel hardness if those matter to you. The set is available on Sokonia.
