Tronic Grey Twin Blanking Plate with Screwless Finish

Our review

This Tronic blanking plate is a twin unit finished in grey, designed to cover a double wall box where no switch or socket is needed. Its screwless front gives a clean, uninterrupted face, and the smooth edges help it sit neatly against a wall. A metal backing plate adds rigidity for secure installation, while the polycarbonate body is chosen for strength and long service. It suits anyone tidying up unused openings in a modern interior, particularly where visible fixings would look out of place. Before buying, confirm the box is a twin size and that grey matches your existing fittings, since colour and finish vary between ranges. Compare it with screw-fixed plates, which are usually cheaper but show their fixings, and with metal-front alternatives that may suit different decor. Check the opening dimensions carefully, as blanking plates are not universal.
