Tronic LED Recessed Downlight 9W Daylight

Our review

This is a recessed ceiling downlight from Tronic, rated at 9 watts and producing daylight-coloured light. Because it sits flush with the ceiling, it suits rooms where you want illumination without a visible fixture, such as hallways, kitchens, bathrooms, or a living area with a dropped ceiling. Daylight output tends to read as crisp and cool rather than warm, so it works well in task areas but may feel clinical in a bedroom. Before buying, check the cut-out diameter your ceiling already has, since recessed fittings must match the hole size, and confirm the beam angle and whether the fitting is dimmable if you plan to control brightness. Compare it with other 9-watt recessed downlights on the basis of colour temperature, physical size, and connector type, and consider how many you need to light the room evenly. It is available on Sokonia.
