This is a 3/4-inch drive socket set aimed at heavy fastening work rather than light car maintenance. The sockets span 30mm to 60mm, so the range suits truck hubs, suspension, machinery and large plant fittings where a 1/2-inch set simply runs out of size. Chrome vanadium (50BV30) with heat treatment and chrome plating is the standard recipe for sockets that need to resist deformation under load, and the set arrives in a metal box rather than a moulded case. Alongside the ten sockets you get a 24-tooth ratchet handle and a 500mm sliding T-bar, which is the piece you will reach for when a bolt is seized and you need leverage rather than speed. Before buying, check that 3/4-inch drive matches the rest of your kit, and confirm the 30mm to 60mm spread covers the fasteners you actually work on, since there are gaps in the sequence.
