Two-way switching means a single light can be controlled from two positions, so it suits stairwells, corridors, bedrooms and offices where you want a switch at each end. The 16A rating at 220-240V is generous for lighting circuits and gives headroom if the same switch is used for a modest load. Before buying, confirm your wall box is square and matches the 90mm face, check whether your wiring is two-way or one-way, and decide if black suits the room, since the same switch is also described in white. Compare against plastic-fronted switches if you want a different feel, and against lower-amperage units if your circuit is lighting only. A one-year warranty is stated.
