Tronic VP AV30 Automatic Voltage Switcher, 30A Dual Screen
TSh 60,500
Our review
The Tronic VP AV30 is an automatic voltage switcher rated at 30A, built around a dual-screen display. Its job is protection rather than supply: it watches the incoming mains and disconnects your equipment when voltage runs too high or too low, or when current exceeds safe levels, then reconnects once conditions return to normal. That makes it relevant for households and small businesses running fridges, freezers, TVs, computers or similar appliances where Tanzanian supply can swing without warning. Before buying, confirm the 30A rating matches the total load you intend to protect, and think about whether you want one unit covering a whole circuit or separate protection per appliance. Compare it with basic single-function stabilisers and surge strips, which handle some risks but not the same combination of overvoltage, undervoltage and overcurrent cutoff. Also weigh a dual-screen unit against single-display alternatives if you want to read input and output at a glance. Available on Sokonia.
