Ingco Round Wood File 200mm HWRF088

Our review

This is a round wood file from Ingco, 200mm long, listed as model HWRF088 and packed in a poly bag. Round files like this are the shape you reach for when you need to open up or smooth a curved cut, enlarge a drilled hole, or clean up the inside of a rounded notch where a flat file cannot reach. It suits carpenters, joiners and DIY woodworkers shaping handles, dowel holes, curved edges and tight internal profiles. Before buying, check the diameter and cut you actually need, since round files come in different sizes and coarseness levels, and confirm the length suits the work. Compare it with half-round and rasp alternatives: a half-round gives you a flat face plus a curved one, while a rasp removes material faster but leaves a rougher surface. A handle is not included, so plan for one if you do not already have a suitable fit. Available on Sokonia.
