Tronic Lugs 6mm – 8mm Battery Cable Ends

Our review

These Tronic lugs are battery cable ends sized for 6mm to 8mm cable, built for connections that need to hold up under heat. The closed design covers the joint rather than leaving it exposed, which helps with insulation and safety, and the flared mouth makes it easier to feed stranded cable into the barrel before crimping or soldering. Heat shrink tubes come pre-cut to common diameters, so you spend less time trimming. They suit anyone rewiring a battery, inverter, solar or vehicle circuit who wants a tidier, more protected termination. Before buying, confirm your cable's actual diameter and the stud size on your battery or terminal block, since neither is listed here. Compare against open-ended lugs, which are cheaper but leave the joint exposed, and against pre-insulated connectors that may not handle the same heat.
