Tefal Easy Cook 20cm Non-Stick Frypan B5540202 with Heat Indicator

Our review

This Tefal frypan is a 20cm aluminium pan from the Easy Cook range, model B5540202. The small diameter makes it a practical choice for one or two people, for frying eggs, omelettes, single portions of vegetables or reheating leftovers. The heat indicator helps you judge when the pan is ready, which is useful if you are moving on from stainless steel or cast iron and are not used to judging temperature by sight. Because the surface is fully coated, cleaning is straightforward, and it is dishwasher safe if you prefer not to wash by hand. It is also described as PFOA safe. Before buying, think about size first: 20cm suits small jobs, but a family cooking larger meals will likely want something wider. Compare the coating and base construction with other non-stick pans in the same size, and check whether the handle feels comfortable and stays cool. If you already own a larger frypan, this works well as a second, lighter pan for quick tasks. It is available on Sokonia.
