Ingco Putty Trowel 63mm Carbon Steel HPUT68063
TSh 5,000
Our review
This is a small putty trowel from Ingco, with a 63mm blade made from carbon steel that has been heat treated and finely polished. The narrow width makes it a practical choice for detail work: filling nail holes, hairline cracks, small dents and awkward corners where a wider knife would smear filler onto surrounding surfaces. It suits painters, plasterers, handymen and anyone doing patch repairs around the house, and it is also handy for scraping and lifting small amounts of filler from a tub.
Before buying, think about blade width and flexibility. A 63mm blade is best for precision, not for covering large areas, so if you are skimming a whole wall you will want a broader trowel alongside it. Carbon steel needs drying and a light oil after use to keep rust away, especially in humid conditions. Compare the handle type, blade thickness and edge finish with similar trowels, and check whether the size matches the filler work you actually do. Available on Sokonia.
