Tronic Desk Socket Universal x3 with RJ45 Data x2

Our review

This Tronic desk socket combines three universal power outlets with two RJ45 data ports in a single unit, finished in soft-edged polished stainless steel. A cover sits over the top to keep dust and impurities out of the openings when nothing is plugged in. It suits anyone organising power and network connections at a fixed desk, counter or floor point, particularly where a router, PC or phone line needs to terminate alongside mains power. Before buying, confirm the cutout size and mounting depth your desk or floor can take, since none are listed here, and check that your plugs and network cables match the universal and RJ45 formats. Compare it with plain single-purpose sockets: you get fewer separate fittings, but less flexibility if you later need more outlets or a different port mix.
