Tronic LED Bulb 9W Daylight B22 Bayonet Pin

Our review

This is a 9-watt LED bulb from Tronic, finished in daylight white and fitted with a B22 pin base, the push-and-twist fitting common in many Tanzanian homes. It suits anyone replacing an old incandescent or fluorescent bulb in a frequently used room, since LED lighting draws at least 75% less energy than incandescent equivalents and lasts 35 to 50 times longer, which reduces both running costs and how often you change bulbs. Before buying, confirm your fixture takes a B22 pin fitting rather than a screw base, and check that daylight white is the tone you want for the space. Compared with fluorescent bulbs, this one is rated to last around two to five times longer, so it can be the better long-term choice where a fitting stays on for hours daily. Available on Sokonia.
