Ingco Wire Stripper HWSP15608, 0.5–6mm with Cutting Function
TSh 37,000
Our review
The Ingco HWSP15608 is a hand tool for stripping insulation from electrical wire in the 0.5mm to 6mm diameter range, and it also cuts. That spread covers a lot of everyday work, from thin control and lighting cable up to the thicker conductors used in domestic wiring, so it suits electricians, technicians, installers and confident DIYers rather than someone who only occasionally trims a flex. The blade is 65Mn material, a manganese steel common in cutting tools, and the handle is PP covered with TPR, which is the softer grip layer. The tool measures 175 by 85mm and ships in double blister packaging.
Before buying, think about the wire sizes you actually handle. If most of your work sits below 0.5mm or above 6mm, this range will not cover it, and a different stripper or an adjustable automatic type may serve you better. Compare the blade material and handle construction against other manual strippers in the same class, since those two things largely decide how long the tool stays sharp and how comfortable it is over a long session. Also check whether you want a dedicated stripper or a combined strip-and-cut tool like this one, which saves swapping tools but asks you to keep the cutting edges clean. It is available on Sokonia.
