Ingco Double Open End Spanner 18x19mm HDSPA18191

Our review

This is a double open end spanner from Ingco, sized 18mm at one end and 19mm at the other, listed under model HDSPA18191. It is made from Cr-V material with a chrome plated, matt finish, and it comes packed by label. Because both ends are open rather than ring, it suits someone who needs quick access to nuts and bolts where a ring spanner will not fit, and the two sizes cover common fasteners in that range. Before buying, confirm that 18mm and 19mm are the sizes your job actually needs, since a double open end spanner only helps if both ends match your fasteners. Also check the length you prefer, as a longer spanner gives more leverage but is harder to use in tight spots. Compared with a combination spanner of the same sizes, this one gives you two open ends instead of one open and one ring, so it is a reasonable choice if you already own ring spanners or mainly work with open access. The matt chrome finish is a practical detail worth noting if you dislike highly polished tools that show fingerprints. It is available on Sokonia.
