Tronic Grey 2 Gang Data Socket

Our review

This is a two gang data socket from Tronic, finished in grey with a slim profile, smooth edges and a shiny surface intended to sit neatly in modern home or office interiors. A data socket like this gives you a fixed connection point for peripherals such as computers, so it suits anyone wiring a room where cables should meet the wall rather than trail across it. Before buying, confirm the connector type your setup needs, because ethernet and telephone cables look similar and are easy to mix up, and check that a two gang outlet matches the number of points you actually want at that location. Compare it with other faceplates on finish, gang count and the connector standard, since those decide whether it fits your cabling. Available on Sokonia.
