Ingco Line Spool 2.5mm x 4m for GBC Series Grass Cutters (ALS25405)

Our review

This is a replacement spool of trimmer line from Ingco, supplied as a double blister pack. The line measures 2.4mm in diameter and runs 4 metres, and it is intended for the GBC45441 grass cutter as well as a set of gasoline grass trimmer models listed by the manufacturer. If you already run an Ingco petrol trimmer and your existing line has worn down or snapped, this is the straightforward consumable to look at rather than a whole new head or machine. Before buying, the important step is matching your trimmer's model number against the compatibility list, since line diameter and spool fit vary between brands and even between models in the same range. A line that is too thick may not feed properly, and one that is too thin wears quickly. Compare this against generic trimmer line of the same diameter: branded spools usually cost a little more but are cut to a known length and diameter, which takes the guesswork out of refilling. If your machine is not an Ingco GBC-series unit, check your manual for the correct diameter first. Available on Sokonia.
